TRAINING WORKSHOP ON

COMPUTER APPLICATIONS IN SOCIAL SCIENCES

The MPISSR, Ujjain is organising an ICSSR sponsored Workshop on Computer Applications in Social Sciences between January 2 and January 11, 2010. The Workshop is meant for social science researchers. Knowledge of basic statistical methods is essential. This Workshop is designed to orient the participants to fundamentals of computer, computer processing, foundation of data processing, quantitative methods and statistical techniques using SPSS.

Travel (to and fro second class), lodging and boarding will be provided free to the selected participants. Those selected will have to deposit Rs. 1000/- as earnest money, which is refundable only after full attendance in the Workshop. Participants will be charged a fee of Rs 800 in the case of teachers; Rs 400 for Ph.D. students with fellowship; Rs 200 for Ph. D. students without fellowship.
